Jeremy says: Are you serious, pop culture?

Al Gore accepted a Creative Achievement in Interactive Television Emmy on behalf of a generation who "wants to be in control of its media" for user generated content-focused Current TV on Sunday night.

This is the first time I have heard of Current TV, but it seems cool and hip, but they totally blew their credibility the other night when they had Al Gore accept an Emmy on their behalf.
I wanna know how a guy who is so obviously "self-agenda motivated" can fool that much of the 'pop culture' population?

  1. Well, it isn't as if Current TV randomly asked Al Gore to accept the Emmy on their behalf - he heads the media company that owns Current TV. I'm not sure how you missed it, but there was much hype about its launch. More background info can be found at nytimes.com.
