Adam and Jeremy Thankful for Mom, Dad, Jesus, and Axl Rose
On this beautiful Thanksgiving morning there are several things Adam and Jeremy are thankful for, like our wives, friends, family and Salvation. However, our list does not end there; it just so happens that this week, of all weeks, we have been reminded that we are thankful for Rock N Roll!
"Rock N Roll is dead," you may say. We contend this is not quite true; Rock may certainly be dying but on this week Rock N Roll has made one last fantastic gasp and for that we are truly thankful.
Not only did we get a fresh new EP from Underoath drummer Aaron Gillespie's fantastic side project the Almost, but we also got the most anticipated album of all time, Chinese Democracy, and may we say that Axl and his assembled Roses still Rock. Sure this may be the last gasp of Rock N Roll, but it sure is a great way to go, aint it?
We can see that some of you may still not be convinced, let us add that this week features solo releases from Weezer front man Rivers Cumos and Scott Wieland of Stone Temple Piolts fame... yeah that really isn't to convincing we know, but add that to yet another release for the Killers, a follow up EP from arena rockers Coldplay and new stuff from the voice of a generation, Kanye West... and suddenly our claims of Rocks last hoorah are not all that far-fetched... are they?
We know the onslaught of Myspace and American Idol poppers is unstoppable... the Internet and iPod have created a world of over produced one hit wonders (trust us that new T-Pain song is the same as the old T-Pain song) but for one last week we want to revel in the Rock N Roll... So thank you Rock N Roll... thank you for holding on just a little longer.

Adam and Jeremy Say: What Happens When You Mix Kanye West, Will Ferrell, and Juno? Funny Funny Things
From Zach Galifianakis, the man who brought us the greatest Kanye West video ever, and http://www.funnyordie.com/ the webiste that broght us a four-year-old, booze swilling, sailor cursing landlord verbally abusing Will Ferrell; an interview with Michael Cera (btw we loved Juno and should also.) you will not soon forget.

Adam and Jeremy Say: Kanye West, Will Oldham, Fiona Apple and Zach Galifianakis... Now thats a Party; just add Blood Diamonds
So I was sipping on a cold glass of filtered city water whilst perusing the Popcandy blog when I saw a link to this great little video for Kanye West latest track "Can't Tell Me Nothing." Produced and staring comedian Zach Galifianakis...
You may be wondering how a goofball like Galifianakis could get mixed up with someone like Kanye, and if so check out this link to Fader magazine that gives you insight to the whole story....Fader Magazine Story.... Galifianakis shtick may seem familiar because he did a similar comic video using the song "You Bring Me Joy" by Anita Baker...
He also did a similar video with pal Fiona Apple on her song "Not About Love"...
And this is important because Fiona Apple will be joining Nickel Creek next Friday August 3rd at Innsbrook, right here in Richmond Virginia! Which just so happens to be the city I live in and the city in which I saw Blood Diamond last night (great movie by the way,) and as many of you know Kanye West has also tackled the emotionally charged topic of conflict diamonds in his hit song "Diamonds from Sierra Leone"...
And in case you are wondering... the bald white guy in the first video is Will Oldham who is the folk singer responsible for this song...
I do love ping pong.

Adam and Jeremy: Wild Crazy Free Music And Such
New, Free, Music.
NME has the low down on all this weeks US releases, and if any of them interest you click over to AOL where they are streaming the latest from R. Kelly, the debut from Satellite Party (Another Perry Ferrell side project, and the best of Elvis Costello... oh and the streams are free!
New White Stripes Video Rocks (buy you knew that already)
We were the first (on our block) to post "Icky Thump" the new video from the White Stripes from their forth coming album of the same name, and you guys loved it so much that we figured another link was in order!
Speaking of new videos; Stereogum has the latest video from Mr. Humble himself, Kanye West. If nothing else watch it just to see Kanye's gnarly scarf (Note to self purchase scarf?)
Green Day will be rocking the Simpson's theme song for the up coming movie... This is the band that wrote "American Idiot" right? Okay just wanted to double check on that.
Check out this band Sullivan; Adam and Jeremy are really starting to get stoked on them and can't wait for their album "Cover Your Eyes" to drop next week!
Pitchfork is reporting that the Streets (Mike Skinner) are working hard on their next album, due out around Christmas, and they have announced a handful of tour dates for this summer! Seriously if you don't know who the Streets are or what they do then you need to find out because its great stuff!
CMJ has a free download of the Final Fantasy Remix of the most excellent (Bill and Ted still Rock!) song "Your Ex-Lover is Dead" by the band Stars. You all know of Adam's overwhelming affection for this band, and thus you know that we must insist that you download this track.
Linkin Park is teaming up with Al Gore for this summers Live Earth event in Tokyo Japan... I think "Linkin Park" is Japanese for "over rated nu metal band that takes itself way to seriously."
Plus 44 and Others Pay Tribute to Smashing Pumpkins Despite Bands Reunion.
Spin is apparently putting out a Smashing Pumpkins tribute album featuring acts like Plus 44 and The Academy Is... Umm... Why?
Yahoo Music has a great live performance by Modest Mouse on their site today... you want to see it don't deny your feelings!
ESPN to Cover New Sport; Leopard Wrestling.
