Adam Says: Decemberist Say Heaven Is The End Of War

So I thought it was fitting that after posting a big long deal about Jeremy and my opionions of Heaven I would post the lyrics to a favorite song about heaven by the Decemberist; Sons and Daughters. I really don't know if the song is actually about Heaven, but that is who I interpert it, and my wife can attest that I really get choked up when I hear it, because the thougt of war ending forever is just that moving to me... so at any rate...

When we arrive
Sons & daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now

These currents pull us 'cross the border
Steady your boats
Arms to shoulder
'till tides are pulled
Hold our grounds
Making this cold harbor now home

Take up your arm
Sons and daughters
We will arise from the bunkers
By land, by sea, by dirigible
We'll leave our tracks untraceable now

When we arrive
Sons and daughters
We'll make our lives on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now
(We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now)

When we arrive
Sons and daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
(Sons and daughters)
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon
(We'll make our homes on the water)
We'll make our homes on the water
(When we build our walls of aluminum)
(We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon)

Here all the bombs fade away (x20)
